A Gift
The snow blew to our front windshield when my husband drove me home last Thursday evening. The snow seemed like white feathers dancing in the air. It was a stunning scene for me, because it was my first time seeing snow.
The snow fell on my shoulders softly after I got out of the car. I could not help sticking my hand out from under the umbrella. The snow melted as soon as it landed on my hand. The moment was breathtaking. And the kids in our neighborhood shouted with thrills. They were crazy for the snow.
It probably would be the last winter we spend in Austin. So the snow was like a gift for us before we leave here.
