Love Meal 愛餐

安息聖日〈創世記 二章2-3節 〉

2.  到了第七日, 神造萬物的工已經完畢,就在第七日歇了祂一切的工，

     安息了。
3. 神賜福給第七日,定為聖日‧因為在這日 神歇了祂一切創造的工,

     就安息了。

2. By the seventh day God had finished the work he had being doing;

    so on the seventh day he rested from all his work.
3. And God blessed the seventh day and made it hilly, because on it he

    rested  from all the work of creating that he had done.


教會像一個大家庭，吃飯的時候，大人小孩，熱鬧非凡！
但是煮飯的人為了煮這一餐，可是非常辛苦‧
所以我們稱它是〝愛餐〞.

很早以前，是每家帶一道菜，後來人越來越多，這個辦法好像行不通，

加上單身漢或沒時間帶菜來的，還有各色人種民族吃不一樣口味，

形成一個大問題, 也爭議好長一段時間，才決定組織一個烹飪組。

剛開始，只是幾位姐妹出來幫教會煮飯，一來這樣節省很多支出去餐館

訂菜，二來節省去外面吃來返時間，話說只是切切洗洗，但做的人還是

那麼幾個人.

目前烹飪組已經增加到8~10組，每組有一個組長和一個幫手，組長當然

就是主廚，也負責買菜，每一組的菜色，幾乎都固定了，所以啊...

只要看到哪個大廚在廚房，就知道當天要吃什麼，好不好吃，完全是

另外一回事！總是以感謝的心，因為她/他的愛心準備，真的很辛苦...

上周六~在教會，是輪到Amy 這組煮飯，累是累，看著有這麼多人吃著

我做的菜，啊！實在很欣慰！三道菜做六大盤，一鍋湯，另加上一堆

絲瓜信徒捐贈的，也炒一炒，當作第四道菜.  還有一道正宗的韓國泡菜，

我想韓國人吃飯離不了它，也是我們的福氣，每個禮拜一定有！


菜單：

1.　大白菜：加甜不辣, 粉絲, 蝦米泡過, 蒜
2.　芹菜：加長條腐竹切塊, 蒜
3.　雞肉：切丁,  紅蘿蔔, 豆腐干切丁, 草菇, 洋葱, 豆瓣醬, 甜麵醬, 蒜, 薑.
　　
味噌湯：加嫩豆腐, 海帶芽, 小銀魚.

水果： 紅葡萄, 哈密瓜

點心： 紅豆湯圓

Vacation  (渡假)？

My baby came home last weekend.
She felt was like in a vacation!
Sure she did.

It’s a kind of having a different life here. she said that when I drove her
to the bus stop. I hugged her and waved to her, ”Your vacation was over,
time to back to work( school ).” I said.
I know we have to wait until next meet ... ... my eyes were wet...

They purchased the tickets to watch the ”Dallas Stars” played the first

 hockey game on last Friday night this season, they won.
I didn’t spend time with my kids cheering on our favorite team because

I had to prepare the cooking material for Saturday’s lunch at church.

After Saturday afternoon bible study, they had a appointment with eye

doctor, and went shopping at the mall, bought something for her and him

from American Eagle and Express. When I said these 2 stores too fast,
it came out from my mouth, ... ” American Express ” ,
”mom, not the credit card.” we laughed!
