Quotes of Siddhartha (4)
Siddhartha said: "What could I say to you that would be of value, except that perhaps you seek too much, that as a result of your seeking you cannot find." (Govinda, p.140)
Wisdom is not communicable. The wisdom which a wise man tries to communicate always sounds foolish. (Govinda, p.142)
In every truth the opposite is equally true. (Govinda, p.143)
"…now I think: This stone is stone; it is also animal, God and Buddha. I do not respect and love it because it was one thing and will become something else, but because it has already long been everything and always is everything."(Govinda, p.145)
If they are illusion, then I also am illusion, and so they are always of the same nature as myself. (Govinda, p.147)
