The white city --- Ostuni

Known as 〝the white city〞, Ostuni has chalk-white buildings that are visible for miles around, spread across three hills overlooking the coastal plain.

The 11th-century borgo antico ( historic center ) , on the slopes of the highest hill , is the most interesting spot for a stroll. Take some time to wonder through the peaceful streets of the historic center , and be sure to walk down to the northern rim for the views over the fields of olive groves and the azure sea beyond.
