Costa Rica trip - 1
Went to Costa Rica for 2 weeks and to San Francisco after that for few days break before coming back to work. Overall the trip was fantastic, with nice food, nice weather and nice people. :)
Had jet lag for almost 1 week there. Keep on dozing off and nearly fell asleep during training, and I was sitting at the first row in the class some more...Gosh, luckily the trainer pay more attention to people sitting at back, maybe he felt that most people sitting at the back will be doing their own stuff or fell asleep more, haha.
Costa Rica means Rich Coast in Spanish. It is situated between Nicaragua and Panama in Central America. Although it is a small country, it is rich with beautiful natural resources. The country is famous for its coffee, mostly export to other countries.
Stayed in Courtyard Marriott San Jose at Escazu, which is one of the upcoming new town near San Jose. Everyday had good meal and king-sized bed to rest after work, what could I ask for more?
Met my Costa Rica colleagues and hang out with them was fun, they are friendly and nice to talk with. They have the habit of saying buenos días (good morning) to people, no matter if they know you or not, and this makes you feel welcomed. First few days having to get used to people peeked on my cheeks as this is the way they greet people, no matter if they are guys or girls, haha.
Photos speaks a thousand words...so enjoy viewing folks :)
View of sky before landing at San Jose Airport, Costa Rica
On the way to pick up the rented car near airport, my colleagues and I rented a car to work during our stay there
View from Hotel Marriott San Jose, nope it is not the one I stayed, it is one of my colleagues. She preferred to stay there as the gym and swimming pool facilities is better. The view of this hotel is nice too, it is situated in the middle of coffee plantation. You can see coffee and lemon trees surrounding it.
My bedroom at Courtyard Marriott, like this place as it is near to eating places and department stores.
Had Sushi as dinner at our first day in CR. It was simply delicious...and that is the only restaurant that made us went twice during our stay there. The chef is 100% Japanese, Tomo-san from Tokyo.
We had complimentary fruits given by Tomo-san, haha...
Sushi Kai, nice sushi and sashimi there
